Going Green

The Irish Tourist Board certainly earned their money this year – Global Greening Day is launched on March 17th,  St Patrick’s Day, and he’s the patron saint of Ireland. One of the only days of the year when neither north or south exist.

So how could I wear any other colour?

Apple green jeans (rub off pattern) and multi-green knit top V8641, sadly OOP as it has some great basics. Jeans are part of Swap ’14 for green and blue spectrum, the top was a remnant piece from the local fabric shop, picked up for a song. I’d started these coloured jeans while waiting for the StyleArc Ziggi pattern to arrive from Australia; they took a back seat for a few weeks but got them finished up at the weekend.

No, my house isn’t on the tilt – just the photographer!

  1. Happy St Patricks Day Ruth.

  2. I think what’s happened here is that St Patrick’s, falling on a Monday, has been turned into a St Patrick weekend with many (your photographer?) drinking from Saturday…

But you’ve been busy. Love the colours of the jeans and top; really nice neckline on the pattern.

    Now celebrate!

  3. Love the colours in your top! I completely forgot about today being St. Patrick’s, but reached for a green cashmere sweater because it’s the only warm turtleneck in my wardrobe, and it was -21C this morning! Thanks for posting all the green pics – great fun!

  4. What fun it must be to be in Ireland on St. Patrick’s Day! Hope you’ve had a lovely celebration. Fabulous outfit 🙂

  5. Lovely, lovely colors! You make me wish that i was a blonde to be able to carry those colors as well as you do 🙂

  6. Great outfit Ruth.
Hope you had a great St Patricks day!

  7. Gorgeousness in green! Love the top.
